Haaland hits out at Alexander-ArnoldLiverpool defender claims Reds trophies "mean more"Haaland brags about treble victoryWHAT HAPPENED?
Alexander-Arnold claimed in a recent interview that City are a "machine built to win" and said that "how both clubs have built their teams and the manner in which we've done it, probably means more to our fans."
Haaland has now taken aim with a dig at the England right-back, pointing out that he won the treble in his first season at City – scoring 52 goals in 53 games in all competitions – while Alexander-Arnold has never achieved the same feat.

Haaland told : "If he wants to say that, OK. I've been here one year and I won the treble. It was quite a nice feeling. I don't think he knows exactly this feeling. They [Liverpool] can talk as much as they want, or he [Alexander-Arnold] can talk as much as he wants… I don't know why he does that, but I don't mind."
On City's title chances, the Norwegian added: "I think there's so many who can win the Premier League, and in the last years it's been Man City and we're going to try and do it again. It's not going to be easy, but we are good!"

City and Liverpool go head-to-head on Sunday in a major fixture at the top-end of the Premier League table. The Reds are currently top of the table, one point clear of last season's treble winners, meaning a victory for either side would be an immense result this weekend.
