Wrexham scored three of their goals in first-half stoppage-time, with Mullin crashing home a spectacular free-kick in the 56th minute of an extended opening to the game. That effort was the 29-year-old striker’s 11th of the season and saw emotion spill out of him in front of jubilant home supporters.
WHAT REYNOLDS SAID
Hollywood co-owner Reynolds was among those watching on from afar, and he said on social media of the spectacular strike and more wild scenes of celebration in Wrexham: “The love for this club and town: Indescribable.”
WHAT NEXT FOR WREXHAM?
Reynolds, along with fellow co-chairman Rob McElhenney, will likely be back on British shores in the not too distant future – as they take in a first Wrexham visit of 2024 – and they will be delighted to see that Phil Parkinson’s side are now just two points off top spot in League Two, while boasting a game in hand on leaders Stockport.
