As per Football Insider, the 19-year-old is on the shortlist alongside several centre-forward targets the Gunners are considering who can start for the team in the upcoming campaign. Brentford ace Ivan Toney has been linked to Arsenal, but the North London team is currently evaluating other options that could fit into Mikel Arteta's star lineup.

Ferguson has also drawn interest from Chelsea in the past as the teenager was recently connected to Chelsea according to reports that indicated he could fetch up to £100 million for Brighton. In April of last year, Ferguson signed a five-year contract with Brighton. Seven months later, he signed an extension that would extend until the summer of 2029.
